WHAT DO YOU WISH TO DO WITH THE REST OF YOUR LIFE?

That question is being asked by more folks than ever as we enter the year 3 AP (After Pandemic). There is revolution brewing in the economy, in politics, in technology, in the runaway climate, and in the relationship between human beings and work!  The eye of the 21st century made hard landfall in March 2020 and it is relentless in its capacity for disruption.

Given how different everything looks, millions of folks are reexamining many things, including ministry careers.  This is expected in the middle years anyway, but right now people are hitting their rethink in storm conditions that impede clear thinking and centered praying.

So at Epicenter Group, Gary Shockley and I are inviting a cohort to journey with us in the first part of 2022, as we seek to gain clarity and to prepare for some bold personal moves and pivots in the days ahead!  We will do deep Enneagram work (forget the cheesy internet tests!), some contemplative practice and an appreciative inquiry directed at what our life narrative to date teaches us as we look ahead across the 2020s and beyond. We plan to use the book Body of Work by Pam Slim as a resource during the Lenten portion of the cohort.

We are calling this Imagining What’s Next!  With both group and individual sessions, cost is $395 for the entire experience.  The experience starts Tuesday February 1 at 4 pm ET/1 pm PT.  Individual sessions are scheduled around participant availability. However most of the group work (Feb 1, March 8, 15, 22, April 5, 26, May 10 ) will be on Tuesday afternoons at the time listed.  (We will not meet during Holy Week or Easter Week.)  1.0 CEU will be offered to each participant.

For more information or to sign up for Imagining What’s Next please reach out to us at epicentergroup.dc@gmail.com and flag your email with the word Imagine in the subject line.

It is truly a wondrous and epic moment of history. Too many of us are allowing fatigue and obsolete ministry thinking steal from us the joy and possibilities of living … and leading… in this moment!

Merry Christmas to each of you!

Paul, Beth, Justin, Sandy, Gary and Rachel at The Epicenter Group
